Before I went to Anguilla, I had a chance to shoot Megan's Bridal session and all I can say is that I LOVE my job!! Megan really wanted something "different" and so we experimented a bit and I think really got some cool shots! Here are just a few...

How cool was it to wake up this morning to see a few of my images in the Star-Telegram Newspaper!! I did an interview with a reporter a few weeks ago about the whole "Trash the Dress" phenomenon and she used quite a bit of the stuff I told her! Congrats to Jennifer and Brooke for getting their photos published as well!(I had no idea which ones they would use!)

I went to Captiva Island last week for vacation and I must say that the South Seas resort is simply gorgeous! In fact, here was the view from my bedroom window!
I managed to break out my camera a couple of times while on vacation as I couldn't resist the urge to shoot one of my favorite couples on the gorgeous beaches of Captiva Island! Nick and Brooke are always so much fun to shoot and they agreed to be my guinea pigs for a couple of hours while I played around with some new lighting techniques, etc... We ended up with a pretty AWESOME shoot and even got a little dress trashing in the ocean for good measure!

I absolutely love the "look" of the movie "300" and that is what I wanted to emulate here. I honestly think that this might be one of my favorite shots of All-Time!!
I can't wait to try some more shots like these on my destination weddings next year. I already have weddings booked for Hawaii, Trinidad and Tobago, The Bahamas, and Anguilla again next year!! As I previously mentioned, Emily and Alex are having a cool Medieval wedding next month. I had the chance to photograph Emily's Bridal session with her Medieval dress and we had a ton of fun. Her flowers and headpiece were also very cool! We had a beautiful day for shooting and got some really good shots! Here are a few...

Barbara told me that I could post a few of her bridals on the blog because Aaron won't look. =) We had an amazing time shooting the other day and Barbara looked absolutely stunning! She is wearing an amazing Vera Wang Dress and the veil is perfect for it!
She is a regular Izzie Stevens for you Grey's Anatomy fans! =) Barbara is a doctor, but she would also make a great model! The wedding is going to be so much fun to shoot!

I had the pleasure of shooting Lacey's Bridals the other day and I must say that we got some pretty amazing stuff! Lacey and her entourage were a ton of fun to work with and she was a total trooper despite the cold weather! I can't wait to shoot her amazing wedding in a couple of months!!
