I have been traveling quite a bit and just got back to Dallas today, so get ready for a LOT of blog posts to catch everyone up on my travels!
Laura and Lowell got married last week in Maui at the GORGEOUS Grand Wailea Hotel and it was a small, intimate wedding on the Beach and a blast to photograph! Here are a few shots from the wedding...
Laura looking good!
And Lowell too...
As they see each other for the first time...
One in front of the waterfalls...
Leaning against a coconut tree...
A romantic moment...
And a fun one on the rope bridge!
A wide angle shot of the ceremony...
And a closeup...
Just one of MANY faves I have from the day...
And one more...
The night before, we went to a Luau and I decided that it might be cool to take a few shots to share....
Look at the gorgeous skies!
And another...
They had a Cirque De Soleil twist to the luau as you can see!
The colors and pageantry are really neat!
And this guy was amazing with fire!!
Another...
I had a couple of emails asking what restaurants we ate at and what I would recommend, so I thought I would list a few of my favorites from the week(In no particular order) for those of you who might be headed to Maui for your weddings or honeymoons...
1. Humuhumunukunukuapua'a - I can actually pronounce this now!! It is the name of the Hawaii State fish as well! The food was very good and the spiny lobster was delicious! The drinks are absolutely HUGE and the view is wonderful. I'd definitely recommend!
2. Sorrento's - Simply the BEST calamari that I have ever had!! Huge portions and great choice of seafood! Right on the beach and very romantic at night.
3. Mama's Fish House - Since this is pretty close to the airport, we decided to have a late lunch here and we absolutely LOVED it!! The fresh fish was incredible and the ambiance was very cool! Mama's is considered the BEST restaurant in all of the islands and I'd have a hard time disagreeing! Eat here if you get the chance!!
OK, I'll leave Maui with a couple more sunset shots! Congrats again Laura and Lowell! It was a pleasure shooting your wedding in Maui! I'll definitely be back for sure!
Kevin, I have been anxiously waiting for you to post and I am glad you are back. Absolutely GORGEOUS photos and keep bring them on. I am really looking forward to seeing more:)

Beautiful work Kevin. Gotta love a good beach wedding. I was surprised to see the Cirque De Soleil type act at a Luau!
