Chris and Myndi's Wedding!!

Wow, I had another fantastic wedding yesterday!!  I swear that have the best job in the world as I get to shoot photos of some of the most fun couples on one of their most important days of their lives!  Yesterday's wedding was no exception as Myndi and Chris looked amazing and were so much fun to take pictures of!(And we got some TRULY amazing shots!!)

The ceremony took place at Royal Lane Baptist Church and the reception at the Sky Lobby of the Petroleum Club.  I also love working with quality vendors and we had a full set of them yesterday!!

It was my first time working with Shari Johns and her team and I must say that I simply cannot wait to work with her again as she did a FANTASTIC job of coordinating everything and was a thorough joy to be around! 
The gorgeous decor was done by Stacey Murdoch at The Wildflower!  I always LOVE working weddings that she does as her style is truly unique and I ALWAYS get amazing photos!!  The videography was done my Andrianne of Turquoise Productions and she is always a ton of fun to work and hang out with!

Lite Dallas did their usual great job of  lighting and the wonderful cake was provided by Fancy Cakes by Lauren.  The reception entertainment was provided by Ryan Kelly of Lite Dallas and he always does an incredible  job of getting the party going!

OK, I went to get in position to take a few shots of Chris and Myndi getting into the Rolls Royce when I saw this shot!!  I yelled back to them to stop and kiss and the rest is history!!(WOW!!!)

On our way into the reception, I saw this shot and HAD to take it!  I added a texture overlay to really enhance the overall image...

This was a funny moment during the toasts as Myndi's parent produced a list of traits that Myndi always looked for in a guy that she wanted to marry!(I think Chris passed the test!!)

Chris and Jensy's Wedding!!

Wow, I can't believe how many great weddings I have had this year!!  I had another fantastic one last Saturday as Chris and Jensy got married in Dallas.  The ceremony took place at First Baptist Dallas and I must say that I have a new FAVORITE church wedding coordinator in Meghan Mazzola!!  She is so much fun to work with and VERY organized!!  Honestly, some other church coordinators out there could learn a thing or two from Meghan as I was VERY impressed!(And she even has a blog too!)

The flowers were done my the AMAZING Tami Winn and they looked incredible as usual!

The reception took place on the 42nd floor at Cityplace and Samantha and her team did a fabulous job again!    Everything looked great and Chris and Jensy were smiling all day!

Aveion and Danielle's Engagement Session!

I had the pleasure of shooting current Detroit Lion(and former Dallas Cowboy) running back Aveion Cason and his beautiful fiance' Danielle yesterday!  The Lions have a BYE week this week, so Aveion was able to fly down to Dallas for the shoot.  These guys are so awesome together that it was very hard for me to take any bad shots!  I really cannot wait to shoot the wedding next year!

Some Fun in Florida!

I went to Captiva Island last week for vacation and I must say that the South Seas resort is simply gorgeous!  In fact, here was the view from my bedroom window!

I managed to break out my camera a couple of times while on vacation as I couldn't resist the urge to shoot one of my favorite couples on the gorgeous beaches of Captiva Island!  Nick and Brooke are always so much fun to shoot and they agreed to be my guinea pigs for a couple of hours while I played around with some new lighting techniques, etc...  We ended up with a pretty AWESOME shoot and even got a little dress trashing in the ocean for good measure!

I can't wait to try some more shots like these on my destination weddings next year.  I already have weddings booked for Hawaii, Trinidad and Tobago, The Bahamas, and Anguilla again next year!!  All you couples out there still interested in having a destination wedding and getting some incredible shots, feel free to give me a call!

Published Yet Again!

WOW, what a very cool week last week was for me!  I'm sure you guys remember the CD Cover shoot I had with Country Singer Rebecca Henricks a while ago, well........ she emailed me this week and told me that we got the cover for Southern Vanity magazine!  How cool is that!  If that wasn't good enough, last Friday's Dallas Morning News GUIDE section was also graced by Rebeccal!  It was definitely cool to see my work in a huge newspaper feature!

Things are going VERY well for Rebecca and she was even on Good Morning Texas last Friday and sung her big song " Dance With ME".  It was great as she was interviewed by Gary Cogill and they spoke about our photo shoot, as she has gotten TONS of complements from it!! 

A note to brides... If you haven't heard "Dance With Me", it really is the PERFECT wedding song!!!   Check it out!

Tara and Dave's Wedding

Last week, I had the pleasure of shooting Tara and Dave's beautiful outdoor wedding in Prosper!  We had amazing weather and everything looked great and went very smoothly!

Everything was held at the Gentle Creek Golf Club.  Darrell Ward did an AMAZING job with the decor as well as the coordination of the whole event!  Amy Martinez and Randee Strand were also on hand and did their usual wonderful jobs with the hair and makeup respectively!

Chris and Jensy's Engagement Session!

Karen and Joey's Wedding!!

Well, I am finally back from vacation and I have a ton of blog catching up to do!!  In fact, I have tons of cool photos from my trip as well as some recent sessions to post soon!   I am also on cloud nine these days as my Sooners beat Texas and the Cowboys won one of the most AMAZING games that I have seen in ages! 

Right before my vacation, I had the pleasure of shooting Karen and Joey's wedding in Dallas!  The ceremony took place at Perkin's Chapel on the SMU campus followed by a wonderful reception at the Empire Room.   Everyone was a ton of fun and we got some really GREAT shots!  Here are a few of my favorites...
